The Product
How quiet is the silent basketball?
Significantly quieter than a regular basketball. The sound and impact are absorbed rather than transmitted through floors and walls. Most users report no complaints from neighbors or family members in the same home.
Does it bounce like a real basketball?
Yes. The silent basketball is designed to respond like a real basketball for dribbling, passing, and shooting drills. It's built for skill work, not a toy.
What size should I get?
The Size 7 is standard NBA adult size. The Size 3 Mini is great for younger players, smaller spaces, or desk use. If you're unsure, the Size 7 is our most popular.
What is the difference between the standard and the + version?
The + version uses vacuum compression technology for a denser, more responsive feel. It offers tighter ball control and a slightly firmer bounce. The standard version has a softer feel. Both are quiet — the + is preferred by players who want more control.
Is it safe for hardwood floors?
Yes. The silent construction reduces impact force. We still recommend a mat for frequent high-rep training on sensitive flooring.
My ball arrived flat or compressed — is that normal?
Yes. Some models are vacuum compressed for shipping. Allow time after opening for the ball to regain its shape before regular use.

How does the hoop mount?
The Silent Basketball Hoop is designed for easy wall or door mounting for indoor use. It works best with the WAWAWEWA Silent Basketball.
Can I dunk on the hoop?
No. The hoop is designed for light indoor shooting practice only. Do not dunk, hang, or pull on the rim.
What ball works with the hoop?
The hoop is designed for use with WAWAWEWA Silent Basketballs only. Using a regular basketball is not recommended.
